The Hollow Pines
folk, slowcore · Asheville, NC · since 2015
Brothers Eli and Caleb Marsh have been The Hollow Pines for a decade — two voices, one tube amp, and songs that move at the speed of frost. Their records are cut live around a single ribbon microphone in a barn outside Asheville, woodstove crackle included.
Winter Correspondence collects five songs written as actual letters between the brothers during a season apart — one line answered at a time.
Sound palette
Low warm drones, close harmonies, room noise, songs at the speed of frost.

Provenance
The Hollow Pines' songs are generated from folk-form briefs — melodic skeletons, lyric themes, and 'one ribbon mic in a barn' production notes — using AI instruments, then curated and finished by Arc Echo's human producers. The Marsh brothers are fictional. A named human editor signs off on every release.
